Five basic techniques for analyzing jobsMake a proper job analysis is vital for a company to plant the pillars of its structure. Not only do we help increase the efficiency of personnel selection but we also allow for a proper distribution of functions, make better individual goals, salary schedule sections, prepare application forms for employment and increase the motivation of workers, including other benefits.

Define a position is based on an analysis of the same for a detailed description of the tasks performed and determine the relationship with others. To do this properly we must provide the skills necessary for a worker to perform it successfully.

There are five basic methods used to achieve this very description. Some are relatively quick and others need more time (and therefore more resources) but in return we can give a more complete description. If we hire the best employee for a position must first be clear what the position to be filled.
Direct observation

It is a priori the most “simple” to apply, but if you make the boss or manager can be faced with employees who change their normal routines for their presence (it can happen to anyone else). Therefore it is good to be performed by an objective analyst and informing employees of the objectives of the study: simply define the tasks performed but never judgmental.
